Drying Systems
A major problem with traditional spray booths is that they are not designed to dry water borne paint. Traditional spray booths create laminar air flow, meaning that the air flow is smooth and uninterrupted. It is not turbulent. This environment creates a stagnant layer of air on the surface of the object being painted called the boundary layer. The boundary layer saturates with moisture and prevents the drying process. Turbulent air flow is the best way to disrupt the boundary layer and release this moisture. California Pulse, Inc. has a product line of drying systems designed to provide turbulent air flow and to dry water borne paint quickly. In addition, our drying systems can be integrated into any booth type.
